What is it? The mechanical power steering pump in a car is also a hydraulic fluid pump.
What does it do? When the steering wheel is turned, the hydraulic pump in the steering system pushes power steering fluid to the steering gear via a rotary vane hydraulic pump
Where is it located? Usually in a high position within the engine, it is always located near the serpentine belt because it is powered by it.
Our premium programme of steering pumps is remanufactured in-house at our leading remanufacturing facility in Birmingham, UK.
Every unit is 100% factory tested beyond the capacity experienced on the vehicle.
