Core units are only accepted on a like for like basis and should be returned in a box reducing the risks of damage during transit. This also aids Identifications and speeds up the Core Credit process.

All our core unit returns are visually inspected. If any of the Criteria listed is not met, then the unit will be rejected and returned to the customer.

NB: We will only accept undamaged core.

Check to be carried out

1. Check the complete rack for any signs of tampering.
2. Check the rack casting for any damage.
3. Check the pinion and pinion cover for any damage.
4. Check the motor pinion base cover for any damage.
5. Check along the torque sensor cable and it’s connectors for any breakages.
6. Check the ECU Cover and it’s connectors for any damage.
7. Check the two mounting bushes are present.
