Core units are only accepted on a like for like basis and should be returned in a box reducing the risks of damage during transit. This also aids Identifications and speeds up the Core Credit process.

All our core unit returns are visually inspected. If any of the Criteria listed is not met, then the unit will be rejected and returned to the customer.

NB: We will only accept undamaged core.

Checks to be carried out

1. Check the complete rack for any signs of tampering
2. Check the rack case casting for any damage
3. Check the pinion and pinion cover for any damage
4. Check along the torque sensor cable for any breakages
5. Check the ECU Cover and it’s connector plugs for any damage and ID (2 round connector type)
6. Check all the bolts in the belt housing are present and not broken
