Shaftec’s Hard Work Recognised!

The word is spreading about Shaftec parts. Our brilliant staff have featured in a number of media pieces recently, discussing how Shaftec is changing the automotive parts industry and highlighting our success in solving supply chain issues for our customers.

Our remanufactured parts perform just as well as new ones, and by reusing the original OEM castings, not only do we reduce automotive waste, but we save our customers money. Shaftec parts are quickly becoming a staple of motor factor catalogues throughout the UK and Europe, and with the pandemic causing everyone to reassess their supply chains, Shaftec has benefited from being able to offer customers a stable supply of parts that perform as well as OEM pieces during a time of supply uncertainty.

Professional Motor Mechanic

Marc Wise, Sales Manager at Shaftec was delighted to feature on the inaugural episode of the Professional Motor Mechanic Podcast, addressing supply chain issues and how Shaftec’s remanufactured parts can solve supply shortages and reduce costs – a brilliant advert for Shaftec’s great work and bringing some much-deserved attention to our business! Shaftec’s leading remanufacturing process was front and centre as Marc explained exactly how our parts are made so well.

The podcast episode was also turned into a write-up that featured in the June issue of the Professional Motor Mechanic Magazine. This is read by over 60,000 mechanics up and down Britain – a great way to get our name and products in front of the relevant people.

We increased our online presence too – Shaftec recently underwent a Q&A for the Professional Motor Factor website. David Griffiths spoke about his role and the tremendous growth of the Shaftec brand during the last few years, highlighting how Shaftec defied expectation and continued to grow during the pandemic and despite the export challenges from Brexit.

David also paid tribute to every employee at Shaftec for making it all possible with their hard work and enabling Shaftec to offer such excellent service to our customers.

In other news, Shaftec also featured in the PMF magazine, this time in the July/August issue. An interview with Kirsty and Aidan raised awareness of our superb warranties, highlighting how we efficiently handle the claims we receive, while emphasising they are few and far between because of our rigorous testing. Shaftec’s understanding of exactly what is needed in renewing automotive parts allows us to proudly offer extended warranties of up to two years, showing the confidence we have in our products.

Continuing our PMF coverage, our Chief Financial Officer and General Manager Mitesh Thanki gave an interview with their website discussing his role. Mitesh focussed on how the pandemic led to operational changes which have made Shaftec more resilient and better equipped to deal with the unknown. By strengthening our partnerships, we improved our supply chain, ultimately leading to better availability for our customers, something that continues to be key to Shaftec’s success.

Mitesh also spoke about improvements to the work-life balance of our employees, and our implementation of clear development routes for progression – another way we continue to invest in our staff.

On top of our extensive media coverage, we also saw successes with our recent attendance at both Automechanika and the Garage Show, getting our parts on display in front of the relevant parties. it’s been an excellent few months for Shaftec, and we’re sure our parts will continue to do the speaking for us at trade shows!

Here’s to more coverage of our brilliant work in the future!
