New brake calipers and driveshafts expands Shaftec’s New To Range

Shaftec has expanded its New To Range portfolio even further with the addition of 16 new brake callipers and six driveshafts.

This follows the previous additions to the range, where 114 new driveshafts were made available for purchase, covering vehicle manufacturers such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Land Rover, Jaguar and much more.

The new brake calipers in the range are compatible with certain models from manufacturers including Mazda, Citroen, Opel, Peugeot, Vauxhall and Land Rover. The parts work with a mixture of petrol, diesel and electric vehicles that operate on front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

The driveshafts are available for vehicle models from Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Nissan, and Land Rover, and are compatible with specific front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models. Each of the driveshafts fit vehicles that operate on petrol, diesel, electric, or Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG).

Shaftec Marketing Manager Adrian Kitchen said: “At Shaftec, we are thrilled to introduce our latest line of remanufactured brake calipers and driveshafts for a wide array of vehicle models. Through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes, we can confidently state that these refurbished components meet or exceed the performance standards of their brand-new counterparts.

“We are dedicated to bridging the gap between affordability and reliability, ensuring that every driver has access to the parts they need to keep their ride running smoothly, regardless of its age.”

  • Inspect the driveshaft: Look for any signs of damage such as cracks or dents.
  • Check the inner/outer joints: Check if there is any play or looseness in them.
  • Check for vibrations: If you feel any vibrations while driving, it could be an indication of a damaged driveshaft.
  • Listen for noises: If you hear any clunking or grinding noises while driving, it could be an indication of a damaged driveshaft.

Shaftec always recommends that if drivers notice any issues with their vehicle, they seek the advice of an expert.
