139 new parts join Shaftec’s New To Range collection

Shaftec has added a mammoth 139 parts to its New To Range portfolio for February, including 119 CV joints, 16 driveshafts, four brake calipers, and three steering racks.

A key application for the new CV joints includes the CV2141N for the Ford Transit V363 (2019 onwards), while a key application for the driveshafts includes the C320L/C320R for the Citroen C3 Aircross (2017 onwards). The new brake calipers feature the BC11849/BC21849 part for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (2018 onwards), and the additional steering racks include the ERRM2457 for the BMW X1 (F48) (2015-2022).

These new additions come following the four new brake calipers added to the company’s New To Range collection in January.

Here are some signs that your driveshafts might need changing:

• Inspect the driveshaft: Look for any signs of damage such as cracks or dents.
• Check the inner/outer joints: Check if there is any play or looseness in them.
• Check for vibrations: If you feel any vibrations while driving, it could be an indication of a damaged driveshaft.
• Listen for noises: If you hear any clunking or grinding noises while driving, it could be an indication of a damaged driveshaft.
